Poem 12

I have a square sticker on my laptop.

We can’t live without the air. All the

small insects live underground. The

light felt heavy. My body left in the

dark room. The water trickled down

my cheek. I'm running to my dreams.

I will hand it to you one day. Then

I'll let you leave my mind. . . . . .

When I look around me, all I see are

shapes. Blow blow the atrium wind.

All the rooms are waiting for the

twilight moon. My heart felt big.

My tear is in the corner of my eye

And I let my long legs walk out of

your life. Tripping over stones.

Let’s draw circles before leaving. . .
